Welcome to Your New Daily Obsession: The Unseen King of Pretoria

Heita! Sanibonani! Hello!

The laptop is closed, the taxi ride is over, and the school books are finally put away. The daily grind is tough, and we know that by the time the sun sets over Mzansi, you aren’t looking for more work—you’re looking for an escape.

You are looking for a story that feels like home but plays out like a blockbuster movie.

Welcome to “The Unseen King of Pretoria”.

We created this series with one goal in mind: to give you the ultimate 30-minute getaway. Whether you are scrolling on the couch, waiting for your transport, or winding down before bed, we are here to feed your imagination.

A Story Grounded in Our Streets

This isn’t a faraway tale. This is happening right here, in the narrow streets of Atteridgeville and the gleaming boardrooms of Sandton. It’s the story of Zweli Masilela, the ultimate underdog—a “good-for-nothing” son-in-law who is secretly holding the keys to the kingdom. It’s about the arrogant aunties, the jealous cousins, the corrupt officials, and the ride-or-die love that keeps us going. It is the texture of South African life, infused with the high-octane suspense, martial arts, and billionaire twists you love from global novels.

Your Schedule, Your Story

We promise consistency. Monday to Friday. One episode a day. Just 30 minutes of your time. We are here to fill that gap in your day with suspense, romance, and thrill, without demanding hours of your attention.

You Hold the Pen

Here is the best part: This is not just my story; it is ours. We don’t just want you to read; we want you to lead. Did Zweli let the villain off too easily? Should Beauty finally slap her cousin? Do you want more romance or more combat?

Leave your thoughts in the comments.

We read every single one. Your reactions, your outrage, and your suggestions will shape the future of Zweli and Beauty. If the comment section demands a twist, we might write it into next week’s script.

So, get comfortable. Pour something to drink. The dormant dragon is waking up, and Pretoria will never be the same. Read the first episode to get started. Here is the link:

Buckle up. The drama starts now.

  2. Good day, Sir. We start this with a written story, which by now has 4 episodes released. One episode is to be released one a day (weekday). Go ahead and read the four episodes and let us know wheat your thoughts are.

    • Telenovela, yes, but it will take some time. We will start with writing. Our writing will be a bit slow, with a couple of episodes a day. When we read 260 episode, then we can start compiling something for the screen.
